The Foundation
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, University of Jember. Assistant Lecturer for database management systems and database development, 2016–2018.
Senior Software Engineer & Applied AI Engineer
I combine software engineering, applied AI, and information security governance to build digital systems that are useful, scalable, secure, traceable, and ready for real operational environments.
I'm Dwiky Bagas Regio Perkasa, a Senior Software Engineer and Applied AI Engineer with a specialization in secure systems, cybersecurity compliance, and ISO 27001/27002 implementation. My work sits at the intersection of software engineering, applied AI, and information security governance, centered on building digital systems for environments where reliability and accountability matter.
I believe security and governance should not be added after a system is completed. They should be translated into architecture, engineering decisions, access controls, logging, documentation, and operational processes from the beginning.
Career Journey
My current focus is the convergence of software engineering, applied AI, security, and governance. I am most interested in systems where these disciplines cannot be treated separately — where a technical decision is also a security decision, and a security decision is also a governance decision. That convergence increasingly defines how I approach new work.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, University of Jember. Assistant Lecturer for database management systems and database development, 2016–2018.
Full Stack Developer Intern with a hospital information systems provider, then Web Application Developer at Medify.id — building hospital information systems.
Hoomy AI — an AI-assisted home-design product for the Indonesian market, from 2023.
Backend engineering at Bebasinvestasi and TechX, and Full Stack Developer at Bitlion, contributing to a cybersecurity compliance self-assessment platform.
My career began in information systems and database engineering. Between 2015 and 2019, I studied Information Systems at the University of Jember, and from 2016 to 2018 I worked as an Assistant Lecturer, teaching and supporting database management systems and database development, alongside database laboratory experience.
That foundation carried into hospital information systems. Starting with an internship at a hospital information systems provider in 2018 and continuing as a Web Application Developer at Medify.id from 2019 to 2022, I worked on systems built for complex operational environments — where access control, database integrity, traceability, and operational continuity are not optional.
From 2022, my focus grew into backend engineering and fintech, building APIs and integrations at Bebasinvestasi and, since 2022, at TechX. In parallel, I began working on applied AI at Hoomy AI in 2023, and since 2024 I have contributed to a cybersecurity compliance self-assessment platform at Bitlion.
My career reflects a consistent focus on building technology for environments where reliability, sensitive data, and accountability matter — today that means working at the convergence of engineering, AI, security, and governance, with a long-term direction toward technology built for exactly these conditions.
Many professionals understand one layer of a digital system. I focus on understanding a system end-to-end — how it is designed, developed, integrated, operated, secured, monitored, documented, assessed, and improved.
Much of my work has taken place in regulated or compliance-driven environments, where sensitive data, operational continuity, and accountability shape every engineering decision.
